I can't say it isn't bulky, taking it on trips was kind of a hassle, and it just didn't feel easy to carry around.

The Size just didn’t feel quite right for me, and the shape was kind of Awkward overall.

I placed my order and waited a few days before reaching out because I hadn’t heard much. I emailed them once, then followed up again about a week later, but I never really got a helpful answer. After going back and forth and still feeling ignored, it seemed like they didn’t care about my order at all. I was excited at first, but after this experience, I don’t see myself buying from slydehandboards.com again.

I really wanted to like this board because it looked cool right out of the box, and I was excited to try it out. But after just two sessions, the edges were already starting to chip, which was kind of disappointing. I kept thinking maybe I was being too picky, but for the price, I just expected it to feel a bit more solid and last longer. Nice idea overall, just not the finish or durability I was hoping for.

My order ended up taking way too long to arrive. I kept checking the confirmation email and receipt to make sure I had the dates right, but the delivery was still much slower than I expected.

I tried using this to learn, but it didn’t feel beginner friendly at all. They make it sound like it’s supposed to be easy to follow, but in reality it was confusing, tricky, and frustrating. I expected something more straightforward based on the promises, and it just didn’t match up.

i wasn’t really into the look of these handboards. the colors feel like they clash a bit, and the designs seem kind of outdated. they also come off a little too flashy for my taste.

It just felt a bit too expensive for what I actually got. I mean, it works okay and all, but for the price, I was expecting better quality. Then with shipping and everything added on, it felt even less worth it. I probably wouldn’t buy it again unless it was way cheaper

I ordered from Slyde and ended up needing an exchange, which really shouldn’t have been a big deal. To be fair, the product looked nice enough when it arrived, so at least they’ve got that part figured out. But the return process was way more annoying than it needed to be, with not enough clear info and me constantly checking for updates.
For the price, I expected the support side to feel a lot smoother if something didn’t work out. Instead, it was slow, unclear, and kind of frustrating. I probably wouldn’t order again unless they make the return and exchange process less of a hassle

I ordered a handboard and the one that showed up was a different color/model than what I chose. I even checked my confirmation email and it had the right thing on there, so I’m not sure where it got mixed up. Now I have to mess with returning it, which is just annoying. Not really what I paid for, you know, that whole thing.

I tried it out and it felt a little too basic for me. There wasn’t much of a challenge, and I kept thinking it was probably made more for newer riders than people with experience. I could be wrong, but that’s definitely how it came across to me.

I’ve worn similar ones in the past without any issues, but this one just fit weird on my wrist. After a short time it started to hurt, so it wasn’t comfortable enough for me to keep using.

Just a heads-up for anyone looking to buy: the boards do look really cool, but the prices felt steep to me. I was ready to grab one, but once shipping and the total cost showed up, I backed out. Definitely check the final price before getting too excited.

I thought the strap seemed fine when I first put it on, honestly. But then I got in the water and it came loose on my very first swim. Yeah, no thanks, I didn’t feel like I could trust it at all after that

I gave up quickly trying to find a board for my kid. The site just didn’t feel very parent-friendly, and I had a hard time figuring out what size would actually be right. Maybe the info is there somewhere, but it felt confusing enough that I didn’t want to keep digging

I was excited to try this board, thinking it would be solid for the price. But after just a few uses, I noticed the edge starting to chip, and then the finish began looking rough too. My handboard arrived in a flimsy box with hardly any padding, and one side of the box was crushed. The board itself had a small scuff on the edge, which wasn’t the end of the world, but still disappointing considering the price. A friend had recommended it to me, so I was expecting a bit more care in how it was shipped. The product seems fine overall, but the packaging definitely felt careless...

I liked the concept and it can be fun, but it took way too long for me to get used to it. The learning curve felt rough and frustrating at times. I also had to chase them a bit when I had a complaint/question, which didn’t help the overall experience.

As someone who likes a smoother, more responsive ride in decent surf, this just didn’t feel right for me. It felt slow and wobbly on the waves, and I never really got comfortable with it.
